Entity C-273，通常被称作霜冻蜗牛，是一种极端危险的实体，没有防备的情况下应尽量避免与其接触，否则将有可能造成生命危险。

描述与生物学特征：

图为一只正在休眠的霜冻蜗牛个体及另一只正在向拍摄者靠近的个体。

霜冻蜗牛是一种在外观上类似于前厅生物条华蜗牛Stylommatophora的腹足类软体生物型实体，但与之不同的是其外壳与肉体通常为深蓝色到雪白色，部分个体为半透明，且体型最大可生长至0.3m左右。

霜冻蜗牛的威胁性体现于其极低的体温，根据目前的测量结果，体温最低的个体可达3K¹左右。这让其存在的区域及其易于确认：有霜冻蜗牛个体活动的区域通常会结有一层厚霜，且温度明显低于其它区域

霜冻蜗牛的腹部腺体分泌的淡蓝色粘液能够帮助其在潮湿环境中活动而不会因自身的低温被冻在原处，分析报告指出，这种粘液中含有约78%左右的液氮等低温物质，且似乎不会风干；同样不建议与这种粘液接触以避免对肢体造成损伤。

行为：

霜冻蜗牛的行为基本与普通蜗牛无异，但其通常能够以大约 0.03m~0.2m/s 不等的速度移动，且对低温展现出极高的耐受性，但对于高温耐受性极低²，这让其能够在绝大多数低温及常温³层级活动，但90%以上的目击报告仍来源于各低温层级。

霜冻蜗牛为雌雄同体，但仍需两两交配以产生受精卵，这种受精卵通常为透明至乳白色不等的小型球状卵，且同样温度极低；在交配中作为雌体的个体会在产卵的同时用粘液包裹受精卵，以防止其被冻在原处；霜冻蜗牛的幼体壳直径约0.2cm，且壳与身体均透明，只能通过其周围留下的痕迹辨别幼体所在，因此较为危险。

发现记录：

霜冻蜗牛最早的目击报告来源于Level C-271，当时有流浪者报告他的同伴“被蜗牛冻死了”，随后这一实体被确认为一个霜冻蜗牛个体，本次记录也被认定为该实体的第一次目击记录。

2022.11.5更新：近日发现B.N.T.G.等组织正在以16L杏仁水一个的价格出售霜冻蜗牛，似乎广受Level C-30等高温层级的流浪者与后室厨师联盟成员喜爱，这意味着霜冻蜗牛可以被用作制冷物或烹饪食材，目前在考虑对该实体的进一步利用。

配料

重力黄油	一汤匙	愤怒胡椒	一茶匙
霜冻蜗牛	数只	牛奶	半杯
白醋	适量	大蒜	3-4瓣
盐	1/2小勺	来自Level C-372的龙坠香精	一滴（可选）
找马天尼博士要的白兰地	一大勺	淡奶油	少许
火盐	一勺	杏仁水	一瓶
湛蓝萝卜	一到三个	消食莴苣	一到三个
土豆	两到三个	也可以考虑	更多食材

制作过程

土豆去皮切块加水煮上；
火盐兑杏仁水，趁热清洗蜗牛，待其温度正常后捞出剪去尾部；
用白醋泡洗蜗牛，取出蜗牛肉；
萝卜、莴苣大蒜切末；
炒锅中放黄油加热，放入第三步中的切末炒香，加盐，加胡椒；
倒入淡奶油和牛奶调整浓稠度；
加入蜗牛肉，烹煮10分钟；
捞出土豆做成土豆泥；
将煮好的蜗牛和佐料一同铺在土豆泥上，盖好蜗牛壳；
烤箱180度烘烤10分钟出炉。

- 如果因某些原因不得不订购，应注意不要一次性订购过多；
在低温层级探索时做好防护措施。

在不做任何防护的情况下靠近并解除霜冻蜗牛；
一次性订购过多的霜冻蜗牛。
